Smart Duty Scheduler

Realized that manual duty planning in the army was time-consuming, so I built an automated scheduling tool using React (Vite) and FastAPI. It features fair allocation logic, blackout handling, and Excel export. Deployed on GCP Cloud Run with PostgreSQL and Docker.

This AI chatbot was developed as a side project during the rise of AI technologies. It allows users to chat with their own resume by simply mounting a .txt file. Fully Dockerized, the project is plug-and-play — no coding required.

Inventory Optimization

(Capstone project) Developed and tested machine learning models to optimize inventory levels for a retail chain. Utilized time series feature engineering and integrated a metrics calculation workflow into an MLOps pipeline.

  • Conducted monthly inspections and audit checks for serviceability of over 3000 equipment to identify lapses in protocol
  • Orchestrated the Centralization of Stores 2021, involved merger of 3 high-value classified storehouses and reshaping management process
  • Devised Standard of Procedure for loans of sensitive equipment and accelerated integration of SAP ES systems from all 3 units residing in Bedok Camp
  • Implemented the S-CUBE system to automate and digitalize data entry for controlled equipment, such as rifles resulting in a significant reduction in manual entry processes and saving 70% of time previously dedicated to manual tasks
  • Scouted for SAF Wrangler scheme, gaining exposure to Army-level projects. Contributed to a pivotal project to create a centralization plan for all units to follow, streamlining operations across 4 Supply Bases in Singapore
